Interactive web application for special student applicants in one of the following categories.
You may use this application if:
- You are applying as a Cooperative Academic Partnership (CAPP) student.
See the CAPP procedures when you select this classification or see your counselor.
- You are applying as a high school Youth Options special student.
Your eligibility for the Youth Options program is determined by the local school board and/or its designee.
See your guidance counselor for more information.
- You are desiring to audit or take selected undergraduate courses for credit, but you do not expect nor intend to earn a degree from UW-Oshkosh.
You are considered a special student if any of the following apply: 1) you are a college or university student enrolled at anther institution and intend to return or remain at that institution, 2) you want to enroll in a course simply for personal interest or benefit, or 3) you are a teacher and are taking courses to keep your licensure current.
- You are sixty years of age or older and a resident of Wisconsin (for tuition purposes), and you wish to audit classes for free on a space-available basis.
This applies to courses that are open to auditors and special students.
Tuition fees will be waived provided you register for courses on an audit basis.
Tuition fees are not waived for courses taken for credit.
An individual may audit regular (non-participatory) lecture courses at no charge, except for the cost of text or materials.
You are not a special student and need to apply for admission as a regular student if any of the following are applicable:
- You intend to receive a baccalaureate degree from UW-Oshkosh
- You are seeking a second or another degree/major/minor/emphasis
- You are seeking licensure to teach
You may apply via the UW System Electronic Application for Undergraduate Admission.
